Step By Step Instructions

Step 1: Download Aurora Care

Click the download link for the Aurora Care Desktop Application from the above button After you click the link, the file will begin downloading to your computer. Most of the time, you will see the download appear in the upper right corner of your web browser. If you do not see it there, you can find it in your Downloads folder.

Step 2: Open Your Downloads Folder

Look at the bottom of your screen on the Windows taskbar. Click the small folder icon. It usually looks like a manila folder. This will open File Explorer. On the left side of the window, click Downloads. Inside the Downloads folder, look for a file named something like: AuroraSetup.exe Double-click the file to open it.

Step 3: If Windows Shows a Security Message

Windows may show a blue message from Microsoft that says: Windows protected your PC This message can look scary, but it does not automatically mean the program is dangerous. Windows sometimes shows this warning when a program is new, recently updated, or not yet widely recognized by Microsoft. Click: More Info Then click: Run Anyway If you do not see Run Anyway right away, you may need to scroll down or look toward the right side of the message.

Step 4: Allow the Installer to Run

Windows may ask if you want to allow this app to make changes to your device. This is normal during installation. Click: Yes This allows Aurora Care Online to install properly.

Step 5: Install Aurora Care Online

The Aurora Care installer will now open. Follow the default installation options. In most cases, you can simply click: Next Install Finish You do not need to change any advanced settings.

Step 6: If Microsoft .Net Is Required

In some cases, Aurora Care may tell you that Microsoft .Net is required. That is okay. .Net is a Microsoft program that helps Aurora Care run correctly on Windows. If you see this message, click: Download .Net from Microsoft Your web browser will open, and the .Net installer will download to your computer. After the .Net download finishes, go back to your Downloads folder. Look for the Microsoft .Net installer you just downloaded. Double-click it and follow the default installation options. When it is finished, close the .Net installer.

Step 7: Open Aurora Care Online

After installation is complete, Aurora Care Online may open automatically. If it does not open, go to your desktop or open the Windows Start menu. Look for: Aurora Care Click Aurora Care to open it.

Step 8: Enter Your Email Address

The first time Aurora Care opens, it will ask for your email address. Enter your email address and click: Continue This helps Aurora Care connect your computer with your support account.

Step 9: First-Time Scan

Aurora Care will now run a first-time scan. This scan checks for common problems and helps make sure your computer is starting from a safer place. If Aurora Care finds anything that needs attention, it may give you the option to send the results to Denali Computers. If you choose to send the results, Aurora Care will create a work order. Our team will review it and reach out after it has been checked.

Installation Complete
